Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of test equipment and hardware.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance of Testers and

    Handlers / Probers platforms.

    Ensure equipment are in production condition with minimum downtime and running at yield specified.
  • Responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting daily equipment downtime.
  • Support test hardware maintenance and setup for engineering activities and production ramp-up, performing required test correlation and assist in new test equipment move-in and buy-off.
  • Follow protocols to ensure quality control and optimal test equipment performance.
  • Identify the cause of machine problems and implement permanent measures.
  • Conduct machine ESD, grounding check and implement measures to ESD check findings.
  • Document testing procedures and results to improve equipment utilization.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair on any of the following equipment such as Laser Mark, UV-cure, AOI, TnR, Vision Systems, Inspection Station and Packing station.
  • Ensures 100% support to engineering group on device & recipe creation, equipment buy-off, evaluations, qualifications and support new product introduction NPI.
  • Communicates with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Central Engineering (NPI), Pre-assy, to solve issues involving other group.
  • Hands on experience to setup, PM, troubleshooting in various handlers Hontech (HT1028c/HT9046LS/AT, HT1032), Delta Eclipse, Seiko Epson, Synax2400.
  • Identify the root cause and implement corrective action analysis for issues that arise during assembly of systems and provides failure analysis report as required.
  • To Innovate and provide solutions of single site engineering handler ATE/SLT/Bench team for Automation, Process improvement, Thermal management.
  • Strong knowledge in

    Probe Process and Equipment

    Engineering research and develop ways to manufacture products and monitor existing processes and products for quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge in handling and

    maintaining Probe test equipment , create new receipe and prober


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Specialized knowledge of equipment, testers, handlers, probers, etc is preferred

    .
  • Possess trouble shooting skills on equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Familiar with the ATE’s

    like Advantest V93K,T2000 , Teradyne(ETS364, ETS 88,J750 ,Ultraflex) , Cohu tester platform.
  • Familiar with TEL -P8,P12, Prexa, Precio , Accretech/TSK , and OPUS, SEMICS prober operation.
  • Familiar with Turret- SRM , Existech , Hontech,Cohu and Pick-n-Place handler operation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
  • Comfortable working in shifts and cleanroom environment.
