Job Description A Cloud Native Test Engineer is a software testing specialist focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications built using cloud-native technologies. They design, develop, and execute test plans for applications deployed in cloud environments, leveraging containerization (Docker, etc.), orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.), and microservices architectures. Their work involves a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for cloud-native applications. Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate frameworks (example: Robot). Perform functional, integration, performance, and security testing of cloud-native applications. Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement. Document test results and provide reports to stakeholders. Key Skills And Experience You have: B.E/M.E/B.Tech/M.Tech with 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on cloud-native applications. Experience on Docker, Kubernetes based applications testing. Hands-on Experience in Testing & Automation frameworks (Robot, etc), testing Tools / Simulators. Experience in bringing up test setups – Installation and Upgrade. Experience with scripting languages -Python, Shell, PERL It would nice if you also had: Experience in testing with real Network Elements.
