Mandatory Skills: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, etc.). Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests. Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL on DB2 or other mainframe databases. Use tools like IBM Mainframe Utilities, File-AID, SPUFI, and QTP/UFT for automation (if applicable). Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar. Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Generate test summary reports and support UAT and production release testing activities.
