Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 01 year of experience to join our QA team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing principles and a willingness to learn automation tools like Selenium. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and analyze software requirements and specifications.
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Log, track, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
Perform functional, regression, and UI testing across platforms and devices.
Document test results, create bug reports, and provide feedback to improve software quality.
Assist in writing and executing basic automated test scripts (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills:

Knowledge of manual testing concepts (STLC, SDLC, Test Case Design).
Basic understanding of Selenium WebDriver and test automation (preferred).
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
Knowledge of SQL and basic database testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
