Job Summary

Job Title: Software Tester Location: TechM Blr ITC06 07 Years of Experience: 2 5 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Software Tester with a strong background in Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality before release. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Perform thorough manual testing of applications, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality. Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to improve testing processes. Provide detailed reports on testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders. Assist in the development of testing documentation, including test plans and test case specifications. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing. Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Manual Testing. Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports. Experience with various testing methodologies and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
