Territory Sales Manager - GEL

People / Team

  • Ensures every new joinee in the cluster goes through the training and is certified before he is got into branch.
  • Area Attrition Voluntary / Involuntary
  • No. of people groomed to the next level.

Process / Quality Improvement

  • File Quality Check
  • Adherence to process disbursement, collections etc.
  • Ensure prevention of frauds through various process check points and monitor those check points periodically

SCOPE & DISCRETION (Span of control)

  • Monitors and maintains SG product
  • Reviews Branch Operating Matrix
  • Periodically reviews CPVs and GRTs.
  • Monitor profitability and performance of the Area/Clusters using various productivity, efficiency and financial parameters.
  • Periodically audits the cash management process.
  • Periodically reviews the insurance claim process and ensures the claim process is duly adhered to.
  • Undertakes measures to increase growth in volume and contribution of the cluster to the state.
  • Plans and implements customer care programs regularly.
  • Plans activities to ensure growth of business and therefore market share.
  • Actively takes part in the hiring of front end sales personnel for the cluster ensuring 100% manning at any point in time.
  • Ensures all the employees on boarded have undergone requisite training and are certified.
  • Ensures all the Units have adhered to all statutory norms and escalates as and when any issues surfaces.
  • Takes the lead to address any customer complaint and ensures resolution.
  • Takes a periodic review on customer attrition and reasons for the same.
  • Does a daily check on ODs in the cluster with reasons and intervenes as and when required.
  • Identify and analyze risks (economic, social, political, etc) related to broader loan portfolio; ensure portfolio diversification and quality across activities and Area
  • Does a periodic check on cash reconciliation across the Area/ cluster.
  • Does a regular check on attrition and reasons responsible for them.
  • Coaches Unit Managers in analyzing reasons behind drop-out rates and identifying techniques to reduce drop-out problems.
  • Continuously upholds and communicates importance of Integrity and Discipline in the branch.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of all matters related to the disciplinary grid irrespective of grade or role.
  • Responsible for infrastructure of SMFG and its maintenance
  • Responsible for daily reporting of business and performance to the State Business Head.
  • Through periodic reviews ensures adherence to processes so as to meet the audit requirements.
  • Periodically audits files during month end to ensure there are no exceptions raised and FTR score is as per norms.
  • Ensures organizing of community care programs.
  • Periodically attends branch huddle meetings, center meeting to check effectiveness.
  • Ensure login to disbursal ratio is within the national similarly rejection ratio is within the national average.
  • Periodically does physical customer checks to validate.
