Tendering Manager

Key Responsibilities: Local Candidates are preferred only. Tender Management: Identify and analyze tender opportunities (Government e-portals, private sector, international tenders). Review tender documents including technical specifications, terms and conditions. Coordinate with design, production, and finance teams to compile required documentation. Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents, RFIs, RFPs, and full tender submissions. Technical Evaluation & Documentation: Understand and interpret machine specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. Prepare technical proposals and compliance statements. Liaise with engineering teams to get accurate input for customized machine solutions. Commercial & Financials: Work with finance and commercial departments to prepare competitive pricing strategies. Ensure cost estimation covers material, labor, overheads, and margin analysis. Handle tender-related queries and clarifications from clients. Cross-functional Coordination: Interface with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and timelines. Attend pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and tender openings as required. Post-Tender Activities: Track submitted tenders and update status reports. Support negotiation and contract finalization processes. Assist in documentation for purchase orders or contract awards. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). 36 years of experience in tendering/sales support in industrial equipment, preferably machine tools. Knowledge of CNC turning machines, manufacturing processes. Familiarity with government tender portals (e.g., GeM, e-procurement). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD/SolidWorks (desirable), and ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and project management skills. Preferred Attributes: Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Analytical mindset with good negotiation and coordination skills. Exposure to international bidding standards is a plus.
