Job Title: Tender Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tender Manager with 2–5 years of experience to oversee and manage the end-to-end tendering process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing high-quality proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate relevant tender opportunities (government & private sectors).
  • Analyze tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, etc.) to determine key requirements and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, legal, technical) to gather necessary inputs for tender submission.
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical and commercial proposals in line with deadlines.
  • Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain a tender tracker and regularly update bid status and outcomes.
  • Handle post-tender queries, negotiations, and documentation, if required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and pricing to enhance bid competitiveness.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of the tendering process (both government & private).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong documentation and formatting abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of e-tendering portals and procurement platforms is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a tendering, bid management, or similar role.
