Tender Manager

As a Tender Manager for gym equipment projects, your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end tendering process. This will involve collaborating with various departments, developing competitive bids, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements. Your role will require excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of the fitness industry, and a proven track record in successful tender submissions. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess tender opportunities for gym equipment projects. - Develop and manage the tender submission process, including timelines, documentation, and communication. - Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to gather necessary information for proposals. - Prepare and write compelling and compliant proposals, highlighting the company's strengths and differentiators. - Analyse client needs and tailor submissions to meet specific requirements. - Coordinate with design and technical teams to ensure accurate and attractive presentations. - Ensure all tender submissions are compliant with industry regulations and client specifications. - Review proposals to ensure high-quality standards and alignment with strategic goals. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. - Participate in pre-tender meetings to gather insights and clarify requirements. - Conduct market research to identify trends and competitors in the gym equipment space. - Stay updated on industry developments, pricing strategies, and customer feedback. - Track and analyse tender outcomes to identify areas for improvement. - Prepare regular reports on tender performance and market trends for senior management. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years experience in tender management or proposal writing, preferably in gym equipment or knowledge of product listing. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient with MS Office Suite and GEM software. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of gym equipment and fitness industry trends is a plus.
