Job Description

Position -Tender & Liaison Engineer

Vacancy - 2

Qualification - DIPLOMA/BE/BTECH – CIVIL

Experience - 2 to 5 years in same profile

Roles & Responsibilities -

Tendering & Bidding Responsibilities

  • Identify new tenders, develop the market in private sector and leads to achieve profit targets.
  • To identify the tenders suited to the organization, prepare tender specification and documents
  • Responsible for Technical / Engineering delivery of proposals / Tenders for all assigned Tenders
  • Prepare Technical submittals as per Bid / Tender, BOQs requirements which includes (but not limited to) methods, plans, organization, implementation strategies, specialized method statements and commissioning plants etc.(Online and offline bidding)
  • Prepare / raise/attend pre and post tender queries etc and coordinate with concern department /client for clarification
  • Cost estimation, rate analysis, and pre/post bid documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical inputs.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders with compliance to client requirements.
  • Maintain records of submitted bids, clarifications, and client communications.
  • Support management in negotiations and contract finalization.

Liaisoning & Coordination Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact between the company and government/private clients.
  • Coordinate with statutory authorities, consultants, and regulatory bodies for approvals, licenses, and clearances.
  • Ensure timely submission of required reports, NOCs, and compliance documents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and government officials.
  • Follow up with clients on approvals, work orders, and project-related correspondence.

Project & Administrative Support

  • Assist the project team in documentation required for project execution.
  • Track contract timelines, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to tenders, approvals, and liaison activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company’s pricing strategy, bids, and contracts.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes, contracts, and liaisoning.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle government liaisons and statutory compliance independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email drafting, and documentation.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under deadlines.
