Job Title: Tender and GEM Portal Manager
B-Power Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender and GEM Portal Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will focus on managing government tenders and operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, ensuring seamless participation in public procurement processes and maximizing business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end tender management process, including identifying relevant government tenders, preparing and submitting bids, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements. Key duties include:

  • Conducting thorough research to identify tender opportunities across central and state government departments.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and submitting high-quality tender documents, including technical bids, financial proposals, and supporting certifications.
  • Managing the GeM portal account, listing products, updating catalogs, and ensuring timely responses to buyer inquiries.
  • Negotiating terms with government clients and coordinating with internal teams to meet tender specifications.
  • Monitoring tender statuses, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely follow-ups to secure contracts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all tender-related activities and preparing performance reports for management review.
  • Ensuring adherence to government procurement policies, including MSME preferences and local content requirements.
  • Collaborating with the sales and production teams to align tender commitments with company capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in government tender management and GeM portal operations, preferably in the manufacturing or electrical/renewable energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of public procurement processes, tender documentation, and compliance standards in India.
  • Hands-on expertise in navigating the GeM portal, including product listing, bid submission, and order management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with e-procurement tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
  • Understanding of MSME policies and incentives will be an added advantage.

Skills and Attributes

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess tender feasibility and profitability.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of electrical products (fans, pumps, stabilizers, solar solutions) is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Salary: ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
