Job Title:Tender Executive – Interior Fit-Out Industry

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Brief:

Frontier Furniture is looking for a meticulous and strategic Tender Executive to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in driving our bidding success by managing the entire tender process, from initial opportunity analysis to final submission. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the tendering landscape within the construction, architecture, and interior design industries, ensuring our proposals are both compliant and highly competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyse Tender Opportunities: Systematically study tender documents such as Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to understand project scope, technical requirements, and evaluation criteria.

· Coordinate Internally: Liaise closely with internal teams, including Interior Designers, Project Managers, and the Estimation department, to gather technical inputs, formulate winning strategies, and ensure all aspects of the bid are addressed.

· Documentation and Proposal Writing: Prepare, write, and compile compelling technical and commercial proposals. Ensure all documentation is compliant with tender guidelines, accurately reflecting our company's capabilities and value proposition.

· Vendor and Sub-contractor Coordination: Communicate with material suppliers, specialist vendors, and sub-contractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure their offerings align with tender specifications and project timelines.

· Costing and Risk Assessment: Collaborate with the estimation team to review proposal costing. Examine bids for commercial viability, assess potential risks, and ensure cost-efficiency.

· Submission Management: Manage the entire submission process, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising the quality and accuracy of the bid. Maintain a comprehensive database of all submitted tenders and their status.

· Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and analyses on tender outcomes, cost comparisons, and market trends to inform future bidding strategies.

Requirements and Skills:

· 4+ years of proven experience as a Tender Executive, Bid Manager, or Estimator within an interior design, or interior fit-out firm is essential.

· Strong ability to read and interpret BOQs, architectural drawings (CAD), and technical specifications related to interior fit-out and construction projects.

· Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.

· High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) is essential. Familiarity with AutoCAD (for viewing drawings) and MS Project is a strong advantage.

· A diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
