Assistant Manager Techno Commercials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities in domestic and international markets aligned with company capabilities.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and craft tailored techno-commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, legal, and finance teams to prepare competitive bid submissions including technical approach, resource planning, and pricing strategy.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, technical and financial bid openings, and support negotiation processes with government and private sector clients.
  • Initiate vendor engagement by preparing scope documents and inquiries for potential sub-consultant/vendors.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and proposals, perform comparative assessments, and support vendor finalization based on technical and commercial parameters.
  • Draft and execute sub-consultancy agreements with selected vendors.
  • Oversee vendor communication and documentation across the project lifecycle to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Manage end-to-end bid documentation including pre-bid queries, clarifications, compliance checklists, and pricing formats.
  • Explore and establish joint venture or consortium arrangements to enhance bidding competitiveness.
  • Maintain and update the Bid Master Sheet to track bid submissions, outcomes, and key commercial metrics.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Contract Register to record client contracts, work orders, sub-consultancy agreements, and associated documentation.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and identify repeat business opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and B2B meetings to build relationships and expand the company's business footprint.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 35 years of experience in techno-commercial roles, proposal management, or business development in consulting, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.
  • Strong understanding of tendering procedures, contract structures, and vendor management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic mindset with strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
