With our global reach, we ensure the global supply chain has access to the Flash memory it needs to keep our world moving forward.We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technician 1, Engineering to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support our engineering department by performing various technical tasks, assisting with projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of engineering processes.
- Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of products and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment
- Perform quality control checks and inspections on engineering projects
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Support the implementation of engineering processes and methodologies
- Assist in the setup, execution and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical diploma in Engineering or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar technical role
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Experience in NAND or product reliability and testing is a plus
- Understanding on the protocol specification (SD, SD Express, USB, SCSI, PCIe, NVMe, eMMC or UFS) and associated tools such as (PCAP, Lecroy analyzer) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good at creating Test Plan, providing the Execution Timelines
- Understanding the Test Scenarios / Cases and Executing them.
- Ability to provide the tests execution results / status on daily basis.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Relevant technical certifications (preferred)
- Understanding of engineering processes and methodologies
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
