Job Description

Role Overview: As a Technical Support Engineer at First Meridian, your primary responsibility is to provide Tier 2/3 support for Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center solutions. You will handle escalated technical issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and deliver expert-level support to enterprise customers and partners. Your role will involve assisting Tier 2 engineers with advanced troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to SIP, RTP, VoIP, UC applications, and call routing. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Tier 2/3 support for UC and Contact Center solutions, assisting Tier 2 engineers with advanced troubleshooting. - Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to SIP, RTP, VoIP, UC applications, and call routing. - Utilize tools like Wireshark, SIP tracing, and logs analysis for packet analysis and debugging to identify and resolve technical problems. - Reproduce customer issues in a test environment for validation and escalate to R&D if necessary. - Engage partners on escalated cases, providing clear technical resolutions. - Contribute to internal knowledge bases, write technical articles, and mentor junior engineers for documentation and knowledge sharing. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and maintain KPIs and desired SLAs. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles within the Unified Communications or Contact Center domain. - Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP, SBCs, and telephony protocols. - Hands-on experience with Unified Communications platforms like Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or equivalent. - Good knowledge of Linux, Windows Server environments, networking, and cloud-based UC deployments. - Exposure to Contact Center solutions like Genesys, Avaya, Cisco UCCE, NICE, etc. is a plus. Additional Details: Please note the job location is in India with a budget of 10-15 LPA based on experience levels. The work schedule includes WFO on all days with rotational shifts. If interested, there will be a walk-in on Friday for 3 rounds of interviews.,
