Responsibilities:

 

Ø Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within business unit and shares knowledge

Ø Make recommendations on internal department procedures, make SOPs

Ø Review associates’ engagement deliverables (such as tax returns, workpapers, etc.); Provide constructive feedback.

Ø Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively

Ø Work to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluations, additional responsibilities as assigned.

Ø Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary

Ø Develop partnership compliance as secondary skill

Ø Be ready to prepare or review as per the need of the project

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications (Technical & Behavioral):

Ø Bachelor’s degree required; Master's in accounting, EA or CPA preferred 

Ø 5 years + minimum experience in US Income tax compliance is preferred. 

Ø Experience in corporate entity (1120) Income Tax Compliance preparation and review. Additional experience in pass-through entities (1065, 1120-S) is preferred.

Ø In-depth tax technical knowledge of US Federal, State taxes and International Taxes and issues impacting corporate entities, including consolidation. 

Ø Must have experience in OneSource Income Tax (OIT) application. Additional experience in CCH Axxcess, Caseware and FAS is preferred.

Ø Should know complete record to report process in OIT, including setting up chart of accounts, TCCs, M line mapping, importing trial balance and adjustments, setting update state line mapping and importing apportionment and state adjustments, posting to organizer and return, consolidation and clearing diagnostics.

Ø Candidate should have exposure working with Clients directly. 

Ø Good verbal and written English communication skills. 

Ø Candidate should be open to working from onsite.
