Technical Sales Engineer

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation, control panels, Instrumentation, Lightning sectors.
• Meet with clients to understand technical requirements and propose suitable automation solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, quotations, and proposals.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular visits and communication.
• Coordinate with the design, engineering, and project teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Achieve sales targets and report progress to management through regular reviews.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and trade shows to promote Soham Automation’s products and capabilities.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA systems, control panels, and industrial sensors, Instrumentation, Lightnings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience: 1–3 years in technical sales or business development within the automation/instrumentation domain.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and passion for sales may also apply.
