We are looking for a driven and technically sound Instrumentation Engineer – Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial automation and instrumentation sales , a client-first attitude, and the ability to understand and deliver customized automation solutions. Key Responsibilities : Develop and manage client relationships in industrial automation and instrumentation sectors. Promote and sell Soham Automation’s product portfolio: sensors, transmitters, PLCs, HMIs, data loggers, SCADA systems, and control panels . Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable, technically sound solutions. Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts. Meet sales targets and drive revenue growth. Coordinate with the internal engineering team for solution development and delivery. Conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and provide post-sales support when necessary. Required Qualifications : Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering , Electronics , or equivalent. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in technical/instrumentation sales. Strong technical understanding of automation systems and industrial instrumentation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel frequently for business development. Preferred Skills : Sales experience in Pharma, OEMs, Process Plants, or EPC companies. Familiarity with SCADA, control panels, IoT solutions , and smart instrumentation.
