Geatpec limited is a electronics manufacturing company involved in manufacturing of Industrial Automation , PCB manufacturing , Control Systems , Home automation , Process Control and Panel building.


Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Technical Sales Engineer with a background in Electronics Engineering and hands-on experience in technical sales, client interaction, and solution design. The role requires bridging technical expertise with business development, ensuring customer requirements are translated into effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers in Mumbai and Western India.
  • Understand customer requirements, propose tailored electronic/automation/instrumentation solutions, and provide technical demonstrations.
  • Work closely with the design and engineering teams to translate client needs into feasible solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitors’ activities.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support. Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, forecasts, and reports in CRM tools.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or Business Development in Electronics / Industrial Automation / Instrumentation sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge in electronics systems, automation, sensors, instrumentation, or embedded solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel across client sites in Mumbai and Western India.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and technical documentation.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with industrial automation, process control, test & measurement, or electronic components sales.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales processes in electronics or related industries.
  • Negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
