Role Overview
As a Technical Recruiter, you will drive end-to-end hiring for technical roles across engineering, product, ML, and research functions. This role goes beyond traditional sourcing channels - requiring creativity, strong domain understanding, and the ability to build pipelines across diverse and niche platforms. You will partner closely with leadership to ensure hiring at all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership, including highly specialized and niche roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: from role scoping and sourcing to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Hire across all levels - junior engineers, senior ICs, managers, and leadership roles in Tech, Product, ML, and R&D. Specialization in niche technical roles is a plus.
- Source candidates through multiple channels: LinkedIn, Naukri, GitHub, Kaggle, technical forums, open-source communities, networking groups, referrals, and niche platforms.
- Build and manage a strong talent pipeline to support shifting priorities and future needs.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to define requirements, create hiring strategies, and ensure alignment.
- Maintain and optimize the ATS, ensuring clean data and smooth workflows.
- Use data and recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, funnel conversions) to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Compensation benchmarking and negotiations, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market standards.
- Ensure a top-notch candidate experience, representing Skit.ai s employer brand positively.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 7 years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth tech environments.
- Proven ability to hire for niche and hard-to-fill technical roles (ML, R&D, applied AI, product engineering, data infra).
- Strong domain knowledge of engineering, product, ML, and R&D functions.
- Track record of hiring across all levels, including mid to senior and leadership roles.
- Excellent sourcing skills - able to go beyond traditional channels and identify passive talent.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing senior leaders and driving hiring decisions.
- Adept at using the latest recruitment technologies, tools, and trends.
- Data-driven mindset with proven ability to use metrics to improve processes and outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Prior agency experience is a plus (if over and above corporate hiring).
- Bachelor s degree required; engineering/technical background is a plus.
