Description
Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple open-source technology stacks. • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, and QA teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. • Manage project plans, risk assessments, resource allocations, and progress tracking. • Ensure adherence to best practices in open-source development, CI/CD, and DevOps. • Foster a high-performance team environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement. • Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and performance optimization when required. • Drive stakeholder communication, reporting, and alignment throughout project phases. • Monitor and manage project budgets and resource utilization effectively. • Contribute to technical hiring, mentorship, and team capability building. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in project management. • Strong hands-on experience or solid understanding of open-source technologies such as Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc. • Proven experience delivering technical projects in agile/scrum environments. • Expertise in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, or similar. • Excellent understanding of SDLC, modern web frameworks, and cloud-native architectures. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Good to Have: • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent. • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and microservices architecture. • Previous experience in a startup or open-source community involvement is a plus.
