Key Job Responsibilities :

• For ensuring correct calculation and reporting of RER/Straight Lining as per Ind-AS 116 (Lease Accounting)
• For ensuring correct calculation and reporting of Future Committed Revenue in Notes to Accounts
• Review of New MSA's for the purpose of Sox Compliance (Contract Review and Lease Classification) as per Ind-AS 115 (Revenue Recognition) & 116 (Lease Accounting)
• Control on Revenue by Accurate Validation of Credit Notes based on MSA to resolve the disputes/deductions made by customers
• Performing the Financial Reconciliations with Customers (B2B)
• Preparation of Audit Schedules and Sox/IFC Compliance related Schedules.
• Ensure Sox & IFC Compliances as per Company's Policy and as per Accounting Standards Ind-AS 115 (Revenue Recognition) and Ind-AS 116 (Lease Accounting)
• Ensure Timely and Accurate Calculation of RER (Revenue Equalization Reserve) as per IGAAP as well as as per IFRS on quarterly basis
• Ensure Timely and Accurate Calculation of Future Committed Revenue as per IGAAP as well as as per IFRS on quarterly basis
• Cycle Testing of Samples Selected based on underlying documents and preparation of extrapolation file and Memo on RER
• Perform Review of Contracts with Customer (Lease and Non-Lease) Ensuring Correct GL Codes for Accurate Reporting
• Classification of Lease into Operating Lease and Finance Lease as per Accounting Standards
• Preparation of Financial Reconciliation with Customers
• Carry out a detailed customer account reconciliation exercise on a quarterly basis to identify whether there are any gaps between the customer account balance as per the records of Altius and as per the records of customer
• Alignment with customer and getting the sign off in order to maintain a single version of truth with regard to account balances
• For gaps identified, align the actionable with respective team within Altius (Collection, Sales, Energy, O&M, Deployment, Billing, RA Etc.)
• Do regular follow-up for closure of open reco items with respective stakeholders
• Control on Revenue Leakages by Validation and Approval of Credit Notes initiated by Collection Team to close the disputes raised by Customers
• Interaction with External Team like: RA, Billing, Sales, IT and Internal Audit (Sox & IFC)
• Interaction with Internal Team like: Customers and Statutory Auditors.
• CA with minimum 4-5 years of prior experience in an accounting role, preferably in the same or allied industry (Infrastructure & Telecom Etc).
