We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Technical Manager specializing in Quantity Surveying (QS) and Billing to join our dynamic construction team. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Your role will involve managing project costs from inception to completion, requiring a comprehensive understanding of quantity surveying methodologies, contract administration, and billing processes. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders is crucial in providing financial insights, preparing detailed estimates, managing budgets, and monitoring project expenditures. Leading a team of quantity surveyors and billing professionals, you will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. Responsibilities include: - Conducting site visits and meeting clients for tendering - Performing duties related to tendering such as contract summary, budgeting, quantity take-off, and machinery planning - Coordinating agreement procedures with the Head Office team and Project Head - Leading kick-off meetings and coordinating mobilization forms, scope of work, subcontractors, staff, and machinery - Recording meeting minutes and communicating updates effectively - Finalizing sub-contractors, suppliers, machinery, and quantities - Planning and coordinating projects - Conducting daily project reviews including labor and cost reports - Coordinating drawings, preparing revised estimates, deviation statements, and extra items - Maintaining the bill register and corresponding with relevant departments - Handling time extensions and project closure Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Billing - Job Type: Full-time - Schedule: Day shift - Work Location: In person Join us in this challenging role where you can drive project success and contribute to our organization's growth.
