Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

• Project Planning & Execution:  

• Manage project scope, timeline, and resources for AWS-based projects using Node.js and Angular.

• Coordinate with technical teams to define project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track project progress and ensure timely completion.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide status updates and address any issues.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration between developers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct regular meetings with development teams to ensure proper alignment and to resolve any roadblocks.

• Manage team expectations and help remove obstacles preventing progress.

• Stakeholder Management: o Engage with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Ensure that the project is aligned with business goals and customer needs.

• Provide regular progress reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle.

• Develop and implement mitigation plans to resolve challenges before they affect the project timeline.

• Quality & Delivery:

• Ensure the technical solution is delivered according to specifications and meets the required quality standards.

• Conduct regular quality assurance checks and audits to ensure the solution is scalable and secure.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Promote the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and process improvements across teams.

• Ensure lessons learned from completed projects are applied to future initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a technical capacity managing software projects.

• Proven experience in managing AWS-based projects.

• Strong knowledge of the tech stack: Node.js, Angular, AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

• Technical Understanding:

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS architecture.

• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js), frontend development (Angular), and full-stack project management.

• Experience with API development and microservices architecture.

• Project Management Skills:

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Communication & Leadership:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon to business stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Good to have:

• PMP, Scrum Master, or any relevant certifications.

• Experience in managing Node.js and Angular projects in an AWS environment.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
