GEMGEM is building a next-generation C2C marketplace designed to redefine how people buy, sell, and trade securely online. We’re passionate about innovation, clean design, and scalable technology — and we’re looking for a Technical Manager to lead our development efforts from concept to launch.

About the Role

As our Technical Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the technology roadmap and guide the development team in delivering a secure, scalable, and high-performance marketplace platform. You’ll act as both a strategist and hands-on leader — ensuring the project’s success from architecture to deployment.

Your Day-to-Day

• Lead the Team: Manage web developers and IT staff across design, development, testing, and deployment stages.
• Own the Project: Oversee marketplace development, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business goals.
• Architect Smart Solutions: Design and implement scalable backend systems using PHP, Laravel, Magento, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with Frontend Teams: Work closely with Vue 3 & NuxtJS developers to create seamless user experiences.
• Leverage Cloud Platforms: Utilize AWS / Azure for top-notch performance and scalability.
• Streamline DevOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines to accelerate releases and maintain quality.
• Prioritize Security: Enforce best practices to ensure data and platform security.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business and product teams to align tech outcomes with company vision.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep technical documentation structured, clear, and updated.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT (master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in technology leadership and project management.
• Hands-on expertise in PHP, Laravel, Magento, MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Vue 3 & NuxtJS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web security practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
