Job Description

Position OverviewThe Technical Executive will support facility operation. This role combines technical expertise with project coordination to maintain high-quality facility standards.Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations Management

Execute daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Monitor building performance metrics and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards across all managed properties.

Technical Project Coordination

Support facility improvement projects from planning through execution, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Prepare technical specifications and oversee installation of building systems and equipment.

Vendor and Contractor Management

Evaluate and manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and equipment suppliers. Review proposals, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance against established service level agreements. Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Maintain facility management databases and generate regular performance reports on key metrics including energy consumption, maintenance costs, and system reliability. Analyze trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.

Emergency Response and Problem Resolution

Respond to facility emergencies and urgent maintenance issues, coordinating appropriate resources and communications. Troubleshoot technical problems and implement both immediate fixes and long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or related technical roles within commercial real estate or corporate facilities.

Technical Competencies

Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems. Proficiency with building automation systems and energy management platforms. Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.

Professional Skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interacting with tenants, contractors, and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
