Technical Documentation Specialist

Work Location : Borivali

Key Responsibilities:1. Technical Project Documentation

• Prepare, update, and maintain all technical documents related to projects (drawings, BOMs, specifications, manuals, data sheets).
• Create and manage project documentation folders, project logs, and approval files.
• Ensure all documents are aligned with engineering standards and project requirements.

2. Technical Writing & Drafting

• Draft clear and accurate technical reports, project summaries, and technical notes.
• Prepare installation documents, SOPs, test reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support design/engineering team in preparing document templates and standardized formats.

3. Email Drafting & Communication

• Draft professional and technically sound emails to clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Handle documentation-related communication for approvals, queries, and follow-ups.
• Ensure timely submission of technical documents as per project timeline.

4. Document Control & Version Management

• Maintain proper document numbering, version control, and revision history.
• Track document approvals, comments, and updates from consultants/clients.
• Ensure secure and organized storage of all technical documentation.

5. Coordination & Support

• Work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Design, QA/QC, and Project teams.
• Coordinate with procurement/production teams for documentation required during project execution.
• Support project managers in preparing technical presentations and client submissions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical documentation / mechanical projects.
• Strong command over English writing, email drafting, and technical formatting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PDF editing tools, and documentation software.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and project lifecycle.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working with multiple teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
