Candicate will be reporting to Project Lead. We need a technically sound and detail-oriented application engineer to support the configuration, deployment, and testing of advanced cash-handling systems. This involves interpreting system requirements, configuring software to customer specifications, participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and ensuring application readiness for field deployment. Candidate should be able to: Analyze and interpret System Requirement Documents (SRD), Functional Specifications, and Project Plans to configure system software tailored to each customer's application. Configure, calibrate, and test the software modules for functions such as sorting logic, authentication parameters, counting rules, and bundling cycles. Actively participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) alongside customers to validate system functionality and performance benchmarks. Coordinate pre-site system application planning, ensuring all configurations and backups are completed and verified prior to dispatch. Stay current with software versions, update releases, and application compatibility for optimal system performance. Perform system backups post-FAT and maintain secure archival on company network as per SOP. Interface with customers professionally, especially during test cycles, troubleshooting, or time-critical implementation phases. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software development, production, QA, and service engineering. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in electrical / electronics / instrumentation / computer science / Mechatronics / automation engineering. Sound knowledge of industrial automation principles, embedded systems, and software configuration. Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in: Application engineering or system configuration for industrial machines, automation systems, or cash-handling equipment. Working with system requirement documents and translating them into practical software or machine-level configurations. Supporting or conducting customer-facing FATs and pre-installation preparation. Managing system software backups and version control. Preferred Skills Familiarity with cash sorting, bundling, or high-speed inspection machines (highly desirable). Experience with Windows-based industrial PCs, basic scripting or logic configuration, and database handling. Basic networking knowledge for backup storage and system connectivity. Experience with sensors, actuators, encoders, and camera-based inspection systems is a plus. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with both technical teams and end customers.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies for both mechanical and electrical materials, components, and services . Manage procurement processes across domestic and international markets to ensure cost optimization and supply chain efficiency. Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with global and local vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best commercial and technical value. Ensure procurement aligns with project requirements, technical specifications, and compliance standards. Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly. Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery timelines, and pricing. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and introduce cost-saving initiatives. Maintain procurement documentation, compliance records, and reporting for management. Requirements Location: Based in Mumbai (with flexibility for vendor/site visits and international coordination). Experience: 712 years of proven procurement experience, with exposure to both mechanical and electrical categories . Strong track record in global procurement and vendor management. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Needs to be a PRO at Excel be good at Vlookup, Macros & Pivot Tables Knowledge of supply chain best practices, contract laws, and compliance requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
