Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for both

  mechanical and electrical materials, components, and services

  .
• Manage procurement processes across

  domestic and international markets

  to ensure cost optimization and supply chain efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with global and local vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best commercial and technical value.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project requirements, technical specifications, and compliance standards.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and introduce cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain procurement documentation, compliance records, and reporting for management.

Requirements

• Location:

  Based in Mumbai (with flexibility for vendor/site visits and international coordination).

• Experience:

  712 years of proven procurement experience, with exposure to both

  mechanical and electrical categories

  .
• Strong track record in

  global procurement

  and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Needs to be a PRO at Excel be good at Vlookup, Macros & Pivot Tables
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices, contract laws, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
