About The Role

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technology projects from initiation to completion and maintenance activities. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and facilitating effective stakeholder engagement. The Technical Delivery Manager will utilize project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project progress while defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success. Additionally, the role includes capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and addressing risks to maintain quality standards.

A strong technical background (Development i.e. coding) is essential for understanding project requirements and guiding teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.

What You’ll Do

• Should have the capability to explain the technical nature of client issues/product changes.
• While acting as a delivery manager, you should have the ability to conduct & facilities code reviews / design reviews to ensure quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with project requirements.
• Should have the technical ability to understand the product architecture, design & deployment.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
• Conduct capacity planning to optimize resource allocation for projects and maintenance.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting effective team collaboration.
• Identify risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project quality.
• Facilitate project status meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
• Implement and uphold project management best practices and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes and team performance.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and career development.
• Participate in sales RFPs.
• Create/get created” innovative Dashboards & Structure boards for internal and external tracking & visibility

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA with 10+ years of experience.
• Finance/Wealth Management experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong coding experience in Java, SQL, Microservices architecture, front-end skills
• Prior team management experience is a MUST.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - extremely important.
• Strong experience in Agile project management methodologies
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in capacity planning and resource management.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in project delivery.
• Familiarity with performance metrics and reporting tools.
