We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in both business analysis and hands-on technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have prior coding experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide quick technical solutions in collaboration with the development team. This role also requires strong project management skills, including managing tasks in tools like Jira, Zoho, and Asana, while ensuring clear communication, alignment, and vision for the team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Provide quick technical insights and small solution prototypes to guide the team.
• Participate in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as per project needs.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage Jira boards, Zoho Projects, and Asana, assigning tasks to team members effectively.
• Ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment across stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Support roadmap planning and ensure delivery milestones are met.
• Track progress, resolve blockers, and provide leadership with status reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments.
• Strong technical background with prior coding/programming experience (any language).
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proven experience in sprint planning, backlog management, and task prioritization.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Zoho Projects, and Asana (or similar tools).
• Ability to provide quick technical suggestions and guide developers with solution approaches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clarity and vision to teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work cross-functionally.
