Technical Business Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to join our growing team. This is a techno-functional role. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, software engineers, QA, and stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, and challenges.


• Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.


• Needs to bring clarity to internal and external stakeholders about in scope and out of scope items with ease.


• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flows.


• Align with customer to scope/map the requirements correctly as per client needs documented in a proposal.


• Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood on technical front and implemented as per the defined scope.


• Participate in system architecture discussions and provide input based on business requirements/ dependencies/ delays to project KPI s.


• Facilitate and lead workshops, meetings, and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and coordinating with business users.


• Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.


• Use data analysis and modeling tools to support decision-making and requirement gathering.


• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend system enhancements or new solutions.

Technical Skill

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.


• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong technical exposure.


• Strong experience in software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.


• Ability to write clear and concise user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and technical specs.


• Experience working with APIs, databases (SQL), data mapping, and system integrations.


• Proven ability to work in complex technical environments and interact with developers and architects.


• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
