Technical Associate

Role Objective:

Installation, configuration, and Commissioning support of Software related to IT, Communication, Audio/Video, Automation and related electronic security services

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn, Understand and acquire skills to Install and configure & commissioning of system software (IT, Communication, Audio/Video, Automation and related electronic security services)
• Design, set up, optimise and maintain IT networks and servers
• Support field teams during commissioning and troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation of installations and configurations
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for license and software issues
• Test and validate system functionality after integration

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc. in any discipline
• Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, switches, routers)
• Familiarity with Windows-based software applications
• Willingness to travel for site work and learn system configurations

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of IT & Communication systems, Video surveillance Systems Access Control Systems / Fire Alarm / Unified Communication systems
• Exposure to structured cabling, IP networking, and software configuration
• Understanding of database basics (SQL preferred

Basic Technical Skills:

• Networking Basics: IP addressing, DHCP, ping, subnetting
• Windows OS / Linux: Installation, firewall, admin tools
• Software Installation: Installing and configuring client/server apps
• Hardware Familiarity: NVRs, DVRs, switches, servers
• Database Basics: SQL setup, backup, restore
• Electrical / ELV Basics: Cabling, terminations, testing
• Documentation: Using MS Excel, Word, schematic drawings
• Communication Skills: Team coordination, reporting, client interaction

Experience:

• 0–3 years (Freshers with technical aptitude can be trained)
