The 'Technical Architect – DevOps' will play a key role in designing, implementing, and governing DevOps practices, tools, and frameworks to drive automation, scalability, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining best practices, ensuring adherence to DevOps principles, and mentoring engineering teams in adopting modern DevOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities
# Architecture & Design
- Define and design scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps architecture and solutions.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native DevOps solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools, frameworks, and platforms for enterprise adoption.
# Implementation & Governance
- Lead end-to-end implementation of DevOps solutions across multiple projects.
- Establish governance and compliance standards for release management, security, and monitoring.
- Drive adoption of containerization, orchestration, and microservices-based DevOps models.
# Automation & Optimization
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud and on-premise environments.
- Ensure proactive observability and incident response mechanisms.
# Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver continuous integration and deployment.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients on DevOps transformation initiatives.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and development teams on best practices.
# Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Keep abreast of emerging DevOps trends, tools, and practices.
- Recommend innovative approaches to improve agility, speed, and quality of delivery.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience (10+ years) in IT with at least 7 years in DevOps and Cloud Architecture.
- Proven expertise in Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Spinnaker).
- Strong knowledge of Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Expertise in Monitoring & Logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, Datadog.
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Shell, Go, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of Networking, Security, and Compliance in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, ITIL processes, and DevSecOps practices.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
- Familiarity with Serverless Architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Functions).
- Exposure to Big Data / AI-ML pipelines deployment in cloud.
- Knowledge of Cost Optimization strategies in multi-cloud environments.
- Experience in leading DevOps Transformation Programs at enterprise scale.

- Certifications in DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.) are an added advantage.
