Job Description

Job Title: Recruitment Team Lead

Department: Human Resources / Talent Acquisition

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Team Lead will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, leading a team of recruiters, ensuring hiring targets are met within timelines, and maintaining quality standards. This role involves planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding across multiple departments or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the recruitment team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly hiring targets.

Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, networking, and referrals.

Allocate tasks, monitor recruiter performance, and ensure timely closures.

Coordinate with department heads or clients to understand hiring requirements and manpower planning.

Track and report recruitment metrics (TAT, quality of hire, source efficiency, etc.).

Conduct interviews for senior or key positions as needed.

Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for critical and recurring positions.

Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and maintain candidate data.

Organize training sessions to improve team performance and productivity.

Target & Performance Metrics:

Monthly Target: Achieve closure of assigned positions (e.g., 30–50 positions per month depending on project volume).

Team Target: Ensure overall team achieves 90–100% of monthly hiring goals.

TAT (Turnaround Time): Maintain average closure within defined timelines.

Quality: Ensure minimum 80–85% candidate retention in the first 90 days.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

3–6 years of recruitment experience, including at least 1–2 years in a team lead role.

Strong knowledge of recruitment tools (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets consistently.

Preferred:

Experience in bulk or field recruitment.

Familiarity with ESI, PF, and labor compliance for blue-collar hiring (if applicable).
