Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to Lead and manage a team of front-end sales professionals specializing in LV & MV Drive. Drive the sales of System Drives products, including Low Voltage Drive cabinets, Medium Voltage drives, High Power LV Drive Modules, DC Drives, power supplies for hydrogen, and Packaging Solutions for Large power Medium Voltage Drive trains. Develop and implement sales strategies in alignment with the company's objectives. Operate within a designated market, covering regions in India such as :- NCR, UP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, addressing their specific needs and resolving any issues. Identify and develop new sales opportunities to expand the market presence. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry
This role is contributing to the Motion Business for System Drive Division in Faridabad, India
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Volume and profit - Responsible for sales of products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- Customer relations -Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships with Large and important accounts to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align resources to provide a solution.
- Sales plans - Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews with team and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Marketing -Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. New market opportunities - Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know- how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Administration -Manages Team and administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
- Offer preparation - Ensure offering direct/team in coordination with the bid and proposal department. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
- Over 15-20 years experience in Team Management and High end Sales & Marketing of System Drives Product Portfolio of Low & Medium Voltage Drives, High Power Drive Modules, DC Drives, Packaging solution of large rating drive train in Heavy Industry Segment such as Cement, Metals, Sugar, Tyre, Conventional & Renewable Power Industry etc
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Drives/Electrical/ Power Electronics related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Fair experience of packaging, handling big EPC, project consultant and integrators for heavy industries.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel within the designated market regions
- Should be having good knowledge of HPD cabinet and MV drive offering including emerging market like green hydrogen.
