About the Role:

Team Leader Merchant Acquiring Business

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of Relationship Officers to achieve monthly EDC sales and activation targets.
  
• Identify and onboard new merchants for EDC, QR, and payment solutions.
  
• Train, guide, and monitor the team on sales techniques, product knowledge, and daily field activities.
  
• Drive merchant engagement and ensure high transaction volumes and device usage.
  
• Resolve merchant queries, coordinate with operations for installation, and ensure timely support.
  
• Prepare and share team performance reports with management.
  
• Implement strategies to increase active merchant base and improve revenue productivity.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Operations, Risk, and Service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in

  merchant acquiring / POS machine sales / payment solutions

  .
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  
• Ability to train and motivate a sales team.
  
• Good understanding of

  digital payments, EDC, QR, and card acquiring business

  .
• Analytical mindset and data interpretation ability.
  
• Target-oriented and proactive in planning and execution.
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Any Stream).
  
• Experience: Minimum 2–6 years in BFSI / Merchant Acquiring / Payment Sales.
  
• Prior experience in

  leading a team

  of sales executives is mandatory.
• Must be comfortable with

  field sales and merchant visits
