About the Program
The InSight Program aims to build a Presbyopia-free India by empowering rural entrepreneurs to deliver reading glasses and near vision screening in their own communities. Over 300 million Indians suffer from uncorrected presbyopia, leading to more than $14 billion in annual productivity losses.
The program enables a market-based, sustainable solution — training and supporting local entrepreneurs to screen for near-vision impairment and sell affordable reading glasses. Each entrepreneur serves their local area, combining social impact with sustainable livelihood generation.
Role Overview
The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in identifying, onboarding, and mentoring a network of 10-20 entrepreneurs within their assigned locality. The Team Lead ensures that these entrepreneurs remain active every month, collectively conducting consistent near vision screenings and driving consistent reading glass distribution.
This role requires strong on-ground leadership, performance tracking, and hands-on mentoring to ensure both impact and income targets are met at the grassroots level.
