Role Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

    Team Lead

    to manage a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) and drive conversions from qualified leads into active investing clients. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of wealth products, primarily mutual funds,  and the ability to build a high-performance culture focused on AUM growth.


  • Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of

      5–15 Relationship Managers

      .
    • Monitor RM calls, guide them on client objections, and improve sales effectiveness.
    • Ensure discipline in CRM updates, pipeline hygiene, and follow-up processes.
    • Regular performance reviews and achievement of sales targets.


    Sales & Conversion Management

    • Drive the team to achieve monthly targets across

      SIP registrations, lump-sum investments, and AUM addition

      .
    • Track

      lead-to-client conversion ratios

      , follow-up adherence, and closure timelines.
    • Support RMs during high-value or complex client conversations.
    • Build a predictable and repeatable sales engine.


    Process & Performance

    • Oversee proper qualification of leads and allocation to team members based on skill and capacity.
    • Implement best practices for client profiling, goal-based selling, and need analysis.
    • Ensure adherence to

      SEBI/AMFI guidelines

      and compliance standards.
    • Provide weekly performance MIS to management (calls, meetings, conversions, SIP book added, AUM growth).


    Client Relationship Oversight

    • Handle escalations and ensure premium client experience.
    • Ensure proper onboarding, KYC completion, and documentation via operations.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling wealth products (PMS, AIF, Insurance).


    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 4–8 years of experience

      in Mutual Funds / Wealth Management / BFSI sales.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a sales team.
    • Must have strong understanding of

      Mutual Fund products, asset classes, risk profiling, and SIP strategy

      .
    • NISM V-A certification

      is preferred.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching ability.
    • Strong analytical skills to track numbers and improve funnel metrics.
    • High ownership, discipline, ethical, and team accountability mindset.
