Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electronics Component Engineer
with 5-7 years of expertise in electronic component engineering and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will work closely with the design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure the availability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of electronic components used in our products. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, identify, and select electronic components (Passives, Actives, Magnetics, ICs, Connectors) based on design requirements. Analyze component datasheets and specifications; collaborate with the Design team to suggest suitable and cost-effective alternatives. Create and manage the electronic component library in Windchill
. Identify and qualify alternate sources from multiple manufacturers to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks. Assess and resolve risks related to single sourcing, obsolescence, and long lead times. Ensure environmental compliance (RoHS, REACH, Lead-Free, Halogen-Free) of all selected components. Support in Bill of Materials (BoM)
preparation and perform costing analysis. Liaise with component manufacturers to track lifecycle status and identify potential substitutes. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. 5-7 years of experience in component engineering or a related function. Hands-on experience in interpreting datasheets and component selection. Proficiency with PLM tools
, especially Windchill
. Strong understanding of component compliance standards. Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Preferred Skills:
Experience in cost optimization and BoM management. Working knowledge of ERP systems and sourcing platforms. Exposure to component lifecycle and risk management tools.
