Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Tanium modules such as Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Comply, Connect, and Discover .
• Monitor system health, performance, and compliance metrics via the Tanium Console .
• Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and client health issues across large environments.
• Develop and maintain custom sensors, packages, dashboards, and reports .
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages ( PowerShell, Bash, Python ).
• Integrate Tanium with enterprise tools like SIEM, ITSM , and other IT/security platforms.
• Support onboarding of new endpoints and maintain infrastructure documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards ( CIS, NIST ).
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives.
  

Required Qualifications

• 710 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint management, or security management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration .
• Proficiency in scripting languages ( PowerShell , Bash ).
• Experience with endpoint protection, patching, and software deployment tools.
• Strong analytical , problem-solving , and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing Tanium production environments .
• Exposure to SCCM , RHEL Satellite , or similar endpoint management tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS and NIST.
• Tanium Fundamentals or Tanium Certified Operator certification.
