Role Overview

Talent Operations Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment Design & Strategy:

  • Analyze client Job Descriptions (JDs) to deeply understand technical requirements, seniority, and key competencies.
  • Translate these requirements into robust assessment plans, defining the appropriate difficulty level, skills to be tested, and evaluation criteria.
  • Determine the optimal assessment format (e.g., automated coding round vs. live human-led interview) and select the best platform from our partners (Zeko, Mettl, Intervue.io, BarRaiser) for each specific role.
  • Process Management & Optimization:

  • Proactively identify roles and hiring pipelines that require new or updated technical assessments.
  • Establish and manage criteria for re-calibrating assessments based on candidate performance data, feedback, and evolving client needs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify bottlenecks in the assessment process and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key operational metrics, including assessment platform utilization costs, and conversion ratios (e.g., assessment pass-through rates).
  • Develop dashboards and reports in Google Sheets/MS Excel to highlight the efficiency and performance of different recruitment pods.
  • Use data to provide actionable insights and predict potential blockers, enabling teams to maintain a healthy and efficient hiring funnel.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving:

  • Leverage AI tools (like Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to quickly understand new technologies, research niche tech stacks, and identify gaps in our current assessment strategies.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on our assessment tools and best practices, providing support and guidance to the recruitment team.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:

    1-3 years of experience in a role involving operations, data analysis, or coordination, preferably within a tech recruitment or HR environment.
  • Technical Acumen:

    A fundamental understanding of software development concepts, programming languages, and modern tech stacks.

    You do not need to be a coder

    , but you must be comfortable discussing technology and learning about new technical domains.
  • Analytical Mindset:

    Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems. You are comfortable performing Root Cause Analysis and thinking critically.
  • Tool Proficiency:

    Strong command of

    MS Excel and/or Google Sheets

    , including functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas for creating reports.
  • Excellent Communicator:

    Ability to clearly translate complex technical requirements into structured assessment plans.
  • Proactive & Organized:

    Exceptional organizational skills with a knack for anticipating needs and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Curiosity & Adaptability:

    A strong desire to learn and a high degree of comfort with using new tools, including AI, to enhance your work.
