Talent Acquisition Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection:

• Understand manpower requirements and job specifications from department heads.
  
• Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and databases.
  
• Screen, shortlist, and schedule interviews for suitable candidates.
  
• Conduct preliminary HR interviews and assess cultural and role fit.
  
• Coordinate with hiring managers for technical rounds and final discussions.
  
• Handle salary negotiation, offer rollout, and pre-joining engagement.
  
• Maintain recruitment trackers and MIS reports.
  
• Build a talent pipeline for future requirements.
  

2. Post-Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Conduct pre-joining formalities and ensure all documents are collected.
  
• Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and induction materials.
  
• Conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
  
• Coordinate with IT/Admin teams for system and ID setup.
  
• Ensure smooth joining experience and early engagement of new hires.
  

3. Employee Engagement & HR Operations:

• Assist in planning employee engagement and wellness activities.
  
• Support performance appraisal coordination and probation reviews.
  
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  
• Handle exit formalities, feedback collection, and full & final settlements (if applicable).
  
• Generate HR reports and dashboards for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree or MBA in HR / Business Administration.
  
• 3–6 years of experience in recruitment and HR operations.
  
• Good understanding of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and HR tools/ATS.
  
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
