Job Title: Talent Acquisition Group Head Location: Chennai, India Experience Required: 12–18 years Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Information Technology / Services / Consulting About the Role: We are looking for a strategic and driven Talent Acquisition (TA) Group Head to lead and elevate our recruitment efforts across all business verticals. This role will play a critical part in shaping hiring strategy, managing a high-performing TA team, and ensuring a steady pipeline of top-tier talent aligned with our growth goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition function across India and global regions as needed. Build and implement strategic hiring plans aligned with business goals across functions and geographies. Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists to drive performance and delivery excellence. Partner with senior leadership, HRBPs, and business heads to understand manpower needs and workforce planning. Drive recruitment for niche, senior, and critical positions directly as needed. Optimize recruitment processes and leverage data to drive decision-making and improve hiring quality and speed. Build a strong employer brand and drive proactive candidate engagement initiatives, including campus hiring and diversity programs. Oversee vendor and agency partnerships, ensuring SLAs are met and costs are controlled. Ensure compliance with hiring policies, audits, and applicable labor regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience (12+ years) in talent acquisition, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role managing large teams. Strong exposure to scaling hiring in IT/ITES/consulting environments. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working with C-level leaders. Deep knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, ATS systems, recruitment analytics, and employer branding. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data. Excellent communication, negotiation, and people leadership skills. Education: Bachelor's degree is mandatory; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in HR is preferred. Show more Show less
