About Us

Skat Vyom Pvt Ltd is a leading Indian UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) design and manufacturing company, driving innovation in aerospace systems through advanced technology and precision engineering. Our multidisciplinary R&D teams work on high-performance aerial platforms, AI-driven control systems, and secure communication networks.

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and secure the IT infrastructure that underpins our engineering and production environments. This role involves responsibility for both on-premise and cloud systems, endpoint protection, and branch network management.

Role Overview

The System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers, endpoints, and networks across multiple office sites. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with FortiGate firewalls, Active Directory, Linux and Windows server environments, EDR/XDR endpoint security, DNS, and cloud platform management, as well as Office 365 and Zoho ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Server Management

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
Manage Active Directory (AD), including user provisioning, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services.
Oversee DNS management, ensuring domain reliability and proper internal/external resolution.
Administer cloud servers (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) — provisioning, patching, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Maintain configuration documentation, backup policies, and disaster recovery systems.

Network & Firewall Administration

Configure and manage FortiGate Firewalls, including VPNs (IPSec/SSL), routing, and security policies.
Manage Aruba and Omada controllers, ensuring reliable wired/wireless connectivity across branches.
Monitor and optimize network performance, latency, and uptime.
Maintain remote access infrastructure for secure connectivity across office branches.

Endpoint Security & Monitoring

Deploy, manage, and monitor EDR/XDR solutions for proactive threat detection and response.
Coordinate with cybersecurity vendors and respond to incidents following internal SOC processes.
Enforce device compliance, patch management, and security baselines across all systems.

Productivity & Collaboration Systems

Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) and Zoho applications (Mail, Workplace, etc.).
Implement security policies like MFA, conditional access, and DLP (Data Loss Prevention).
Support end users with access, email, and device management issues.

Asset & Access Control

Maintain and track hardware and software assets, ensuring license compliance.
Manage provisioning/deprovisioning of access for new hires and exits.
Ensure all IT assets comply with corporate security standards and audit requirements.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

Implement and maintain system hardening measures on all servers and endpoints.
Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, log analysis, and patch audits.
Support compliance with ISO 27001, CIS, or defense-related IT security frameworks.
Coordinate with network and DevOps teams for secure integration of on-prem and cloud environments.

Required Skills & Competencies

Expertise in FortiGate Firewall configuration, VPN setup, and security policies.
Strong command of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
Experience with EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., FortiEDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar).
Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Zoho suite.
Familiarity with Aruba and Omada network controllers.
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and related security management.
Understanding of SIEM tools, system monitoring, and log correlation is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and process automation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience in systems or network administration in enterprise environments.
Certifications preferred:

Fortinet NSE 4+, Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate, Linux+, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+.
