We are looking for a System Administrator to join us as a part-time consultant. The ideal candidate will not only provide robust technical solutions but also mentor and guide the internal IT team, fostering their capability to manage systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Mentor, support, and guide the IT team in troubleshooting, process improvement, and adopting best practices.
Provide hands-on solutions for system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
Conduct root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance for recurring system or network problems.
Lead system security initiatives, ensuring compliance, access control, and data protection.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.) and optimize performance.
Advise leadership on technology strategy, infrastructure scaling, and modernisation initiatives.
Implement and review backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Prepare system health and performance reports with actionable recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Consultant.
In-depth understanding of CAD software installation, licensing and license compliance ( Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D)
Ability to fix CAD software-related performance issues
Understanding of Active Directory
Experience in image creation of existing machines and reinstallation, and new machine creation using images.
Good understanding of the Domain and subdomain by different service providers.
Strong technical expertise in:
- Windows/Linux system administration
- Network management (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers)
- Automation and monitoring tools
Detailed understanding of IT security, data privacy, and system compliance standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in engaging senior leadership teams.

Preferred Attributes:

Prior experience in a consulting or advisory capacity.
Demonstrated success in building IT team capabilities and process efficiency.
Relevant certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are desirable.
