MSCI is seeking a dynamic Corporate Services and Administration Vice President to join our Corporate Services Solutions team in Mumbai . This is a crucial hybrid role (2-3 days in-office weekly) that will enhance our corporate services function while championing sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Your Key Responsibilities Facility Management Operations Lead and oversee facility management operations , ensuring efficient and effective management of soft services, repairs and maintenance, associate transport, and cafeteria operations. Monitor and evaluate the performance of key service providers (facility, transport, F&B), providing feedback and guidance. Collaborate with service providers to standardize delivery of various facility-related services. Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all facility management activities. Oversee end-to-end cafeteria operations to ensure a variety of healthy and sustainable food options. Manage housekeeping services to maintain a clean and welcoming workplace. Coordinate parking arrangements and manage transport services for employee convenience and safety. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Monitor and evaluate EHS performance , identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations and standards . Ensure building compliance and licenses are maintained as per statutory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate regular connect session meetings and communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Championing Sustainability Initiatives Support and implement programs that promote environmental responsibility across the organization. Monitor sustainability metrics and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Support the creation and execution of DEI strategies and initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture. Collaborate with HR to ensure equitable hiring practices and employee development opportunities. Facilitating AI Integration Identify and implement AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and data management. Stay updated on emerging AI trends and their potential applications within corporate services. Designing Effective Workspaces Collaborate on workplace design initiatives and fit-out projects that support a hybrid work model and enhance employee experience. Ensure office environments are conducive to collaboration, productivity, and well-being. Developing Business Resilience Programs Contribute to the creation of business continuity plans and resilience strategies to navigate challenges effectively. Support initiatives that enhance organizational agility in a changing environment. Compliance Management Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including labor, health and safety, environmental, and data protection standards. Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures. Facilitate internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation. Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance policies and ethical standards. Manage the reporting and investigation of compliance incidents. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management. Promoting Employee Engagement Organize training sessions and workshops that promote sustainability and DEI awareness. Facilitate communication and feedback channels to gather input on workplace improvements. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping a supportive and innovative environment that empowers all employees to thrive in our hybrid workplace. Your Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. A Master's degree and FM certification are highly desirable. progressive experience in facilities management , preferably in multi-location and IT & ITES services organizations. Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Good understanding of health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability practices, and emergency response protocols . Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and budgeting experience. Innovative problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, trends in facilities management, and digital transformation of facilities. A seasoned people manager who can inspire the team and build a culture of high performance. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage ambiguity and take necessary actions to achieve results. Familiarity with legal requirements and compliance in facilities management and building permits. An eye for detail, timeliness, and discipline in managing day-to-day operations and projects.

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Conduct risk assessments such as HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the Karnataka Factory Rules , Environment Protection Act and allied rules , Karnataka Fire and emergency rules and SEBI BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) framework. Lead incident investigations to identify root causes using techniques like fault tree analysis or 8D and implement corrective actions. Drive sustainability initiatives such as carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency improvements, and waste minimization projects. Oversee environmental impact assessments for manufacturing processes. Sustainability Leadership Align company operations with corporate sustainability goals by implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks. Prepare reports on sustainability metrics for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies (e.g., SEBI BRSR requirements). Regulatory Compliance Serve as the liaison with local authorities to ensure adherence to all applicable HSE laws. Maintain accurate records of regulatory reporting requirements related to safety incidents, environmental compliance, and sustainability metrics. Training & Development Conduct training programs on workplace safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and sustainability practices. Identify training needs through Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for employees at all levels. Continuous Improvement Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions to reduce risks and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems). Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies such as HIRA, HAZOP, and FMEA. Familiarity with SEBI BRSR requirements for sustainability reporting. Experience 56 years of experience in HSE roles within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated success in implementing HSE systems and driving sustainability initiatives. Soft Skills Strong communication skills in English and Kannada to effectively engage with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Leadership capabilities to influence organizational culture towards safety excellence. Analytical mindset for problem-solving and decision-making. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Reduction in workplace incidents and near misses. Compliance rate with regulatory audits. Achievement of sustainability targets such as carbon footprint reduction or waste minimization. Timely submission of regulatory reports under Factories Act or SEBI BRSR requirements. Employee participation rates in safety training programs.
