Role Overview: As the Naturalist cum Activity Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to create and deliver engaging guest experiences that showcase the local ecology and culture. By organizing a variety of recreational activities, you will ensure that guests have a memorable, educational, and enjoyable stay at the resort. Key Responsibilities: - Lead nature walks, birdwatching, and wildlife spotting tours to introduce guests to the local flora, fauna, and ecosystems. - Educate guests about the environment through presentations, storytelling, and sustainable initiatives. - Maintain species sighting logs, trail signage, and interpretation materials to enhance guest experience. - Assist in the setup and maintenance of butterfly gardens, organic patches, or nature trails to promote eco-awareness. - Plan and conduct guest activities such as games, campfires, cultural evenings, and kids' nature crafts to provide a diverse range of recreational options. - Create a daily activity schedule, coordinate team-building activities, and ensure timely execution to keep guests engaged. - Maintain inventory and readiness of activity materials and equipment to facilitate smooth operations. - Collect guest feedback and adjust activity offerings to cater to guests of all age groups. Qualification Required: - Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Zoology, Hospitality, or Tourism (preferred but not mandatory). - Minimum of 3 years of experience in eco-tourism, adventure tourism, or guest recreation roles. - Strong knowledge of local wildlife and biodiversity. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Fluency in English; knowledge of local/regional languages is a plus. - Physical fitness and enthusiasm for outdoor and group activities. Additional Details of the Company: The work schedule is full-time, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on guest schedules. The job type is full-time and permanent, with a rotational shift schedule. The work location is in person.
