Role Overview: As a Sustainable Design Specialist at INI Design Studio, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction on sustainable design principles and practices. You will collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability into building design and operations. Your role will involve developing strategies to achieve green certifications and preparing necessary documentation for projects. Key Responsibilities: - Understand Sustainable Design Principles & Analytical Tools and assist in achieving targeted green certifications - Provide sustainability guidance for various project types including Master Planning layouts, commercial offices, healthcare facilities, and hospitality projects - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into building design, construction, and operations - Develop strategies to transform designs into environmentally sustainable built environments - Perform modelling, simulations, and calculations using templates and tools of green rating systems - Support execution of LEED, IGBC, GRIHA projects leading to successful certifications - Prepare necessary documentation for green building certifications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards - Attend meetings with stakeholders and coordinate for obtaining green certification documentation - Keep records of green materials and products and stay updated on emerging trends in sustainability reporting and green building initiatives Qualifications Required: - Architecture graduate with a strong interest in green design and sustainability - 5+ years of experience in sustainable design field - Knowledge of Green Building Certifications and standards - Familiarity with simulation tools for energy, daylighting, and renewable energy analysis - Understanding of Indian and International codes and standards - Proficiency in energy and daylight simulations using relevant software - Good understanding of building MEPF systems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Company Details: INI Design Studio is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design practice with a team of 350+ professionals offering consulting services in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Urban Design, and more.
