Description We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager specializing in MEP to oversee the integration of BIM technologies in our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering and extensive experience in managing BIM processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate with various teams and drive the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities Lead the BIM implementation for MEP projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and coordinate MEP models. Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts in the BIM model. Develop and maintain BIM execution plans and workflows for MEP disciplines. Train and mentor junior staff on BIM processes and tools. Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and clients. Ensure quality control of BIM deliverables and compliance with project specifications. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and trends in the MEP industry. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. 5-12 years of experience in BIM management specifically for MEP systems. Proficient in BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Experience with clash detection and resolution processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations in India.

Duties and Responsibilities Works under general direction. Responsible for providing leadership and direction of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams. Develops technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Perform complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines. Lead the design and implementation of HVAC systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with other building components. Utilize advanced BIM software to create detailed 3D models of HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in design. Conduct energy analysis and simulations to optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency. Mentor and train junior designers in BIM best practices and HVAC design principles. Develop and maintain BIM standards and workflows for the HVAC department. Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and address technical inquiries. Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to HVAC design and BIM technology. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies within the organization. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC design for large-scale commercial and industrial projects Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, and Plant 3D Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting Demonstrated experience in energy analysis and system optimization Professional Engineer (PE) license required LEED Accredited Professional certification preferred Strong understanding of building codes and ASHRAE standards Expertise in Fire Fighting systems including Hydrant system, Sprinkler system, Fire Zoning, Fire Extinguishers, and Clean agent systems Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide junior designers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system designs. Provide expert advice on mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP) installations. Desired Candidate Profile 5-10 years of experience in MEP engineering or related field. Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics or relevant discipline. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software for drafting and design purposes. Excellent understanding of HVAC, ELV, Building Codes, Regulations, Load Calculation, Energy Analysis concepts.

Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel is preferable. - Prior experience of working with an IoT based EMS product/platform/SaaS company or demonstrated experience in design and implementation of smart building projects/use cases - Basic understanding of IoT based Data communication, networking, information security protocols - Professional credential in Energy Management/Building systems commissioning/M&V is preferable - Working knowledge of building architectural and mechanical design software such as BIM/CAD/Revit etc. - Hands on with Energy Benchmarking, GHG emissions, carbon footprint calculations/tools - Hands on experience in Operation & Maintenance/ Testing & Commissioning of building Energy, HVAC&R, lighting systems is preferable - Experience with Building physics, heating and cooling load calculations, HVAC&R logics and controls - Demonstrated experience in designing/executing Energy efficiency programs, Energy Optimization strategies, Utility bill analysis, Demand Side Management, Demand Response programs - Working knowledge of globally accepted Energy and M&V reference standards such as ASHRAE/CIBSE/IPMVP protocols etc

Additionally, the role will contribute to product development initiatives and address ad-hoc data requirements as they arise. Responsibilities 1. Manage energy analysis and generation loss for utility-scale solar plants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. 2. Lead projects from the ground level to develop new monitoring and analytical platforms for enhanced performance monitoring. 3. Provide solutions by analyzing historic data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement. 4. Prepare timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, including energy loss management analysis and recommendations. 5. Track PPA compliance by assessing energy yield against contractual obligations. 6. Conduct periodic site visits to assess data-driven results, validate performance against actual site conditions, and identify site-specific challenges. 7. Utilize various technological solutions to address challenges and drive value creation for the organization. 8. Take a site-specific approach to troubleshooting and provide guidance to resolve device-level underperformance issues. 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and maintenance to implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.
